There have been some new developments in the continuing saga of Weedeater. If you recall a few months ago Dixie Dave shot off his big toe while cleaning his gun. The injury caused the band to put off touring for awhile. Well it seems that Dixie Dave is on the mend and Weedeater is back on the road in March. The newly dubbed Nine Toe Tour kicks of in Savannah, Ga and will have Black Cobra, ASG, US Christmas, Black Tusk and Struck by Lightening on board for support.  

In April Weedeater will be back in the studio with emaciated train wreck Steve Albini to record their new album, Jason the Dragon. Albini is a hot mess but he is an amazing producer so this should be a pretty kick ass album. The band has posted some comments on the new album on their myspace page, www.myspace.com/weedeater. In the meantime here are the dates for next month.
