Roxy Epoxy and the Rebound
Bandaids on Bullet Holes Metropolis 4.5 If Miss Derringer had an illicit love affair with The Pretenders, Roxy Epoxy and the Rebound would be their bastard love child. Bandaids on Bullet Holes is delicious dark pop rock perfection. While its obvious that they are heavily influenced by the lo-fi rock style of bands like The Pretenders, the syths interwoven throughout the album give it that little extra edge. Pushing it over the top for a good album to a fucking kick ass album. The lyrics are dark sarcastic and fun. Delivered with a low seductive drone.Trax like Svengali bring to mind some bad ass Joan Jett chick pushing the fellas to their knees and turning them into her toys without breaking a sweat or a nail. Its subversive, sexy and fun all of the things that make Rock-n- Roll a joy.
