Just in time for Halloween HERE! Entertainment has just released Hellbent, the worldâ??s first gay horror film. Iâ??m sure youâ??re thinking the same thing I was, how does a gay horror film differ from any other slasher film ever made? After seeing Hellbent I can honestly say not much, this film follows all the standard horror film rules. You know if you get laid you die and have a creepy knife wielding baddie to keep the kiddies on their toes. The only difference I could find between Hellbent and any other film of the slasher persuasion is that this film has a much hotter cast than most.

I was on my way to the theatre when Rob called to see what I was up to for this evening. I told him I was on my way to see the new Elijah Woods film Green Street Hooligans, my reply was meant with a burst of laughter very rarely heard from a guys whose nick name is â??the soulless wonderâ?. â??Just keep in mindâ?, he tells me â??no matter how many times he says the word fuck, heâ??ll always be Frodo!â? and hangs up. While I donâ??t share Robâ??s opinion on Elijahâ??s ability to shake off the shadow of the hobbit, I will admit I have some reservations about seeing a soccer film. As I continue on my way I really donâ??t expect to see much more tonight that some hot guys with sexy accents. As I leave the theatre two hours later Iâ??ve never felt so good about being so wrong.

The monsters that have walked among us in life are far scarier than those that spring from our imaginations. Norman Bates, Leatherface, Buffalo Bill, and Dracula, armatures. Their real life counterparts like Ed Gein, Vlad the Impaler and Eileen Wuornos had everything these fictional villains had in spades, more terrifying because they were real. One of the most evil and interesting women of her time Countess Elizabeth Batroy killed over 600 young women in the small villages of the Hungarian country side, she beat and tortured them and used their bodies for her own sexual desires. Once she had been satisfied, the women were led to the slaughter where the Countess would bathe in their blood in the belief that the blood of these young women would keep her alive and beautiful forever. Eternal brings the legend of Countess Bathory into the modern age with the lush scenery of the Canadian countryside and the mystery of Venice, Italy and beautiful women that would make the Countess proud. It provides a glimpse into how a creature like this would survive in our world, an immortal, neither human nor vampire preying on women all over the world. Who knows maybe it isnâ??t a myth there are still people out there who believe the Countess is still out there bathing in the blood of young girls.

Iâ??m on my way to go see Appleseed tonight. Iâ??ve spent the entire week looking forward to seeing the film that is already being hailed as the best anime film of 2005. Itâ??s early in the day so I decide to see if Traholc wants to go along for the ride with me. Who better to go see this movie with than my Web Master, best friend and fellow geek right? His response at my invitation made me nervous, â??After seeing the first one,â? he said â??I would rather have glass rammed into my eyeâ? is what he said when I told him what we would be viewing tonight. Iâ??m freaked out by this because our taste in films of the Anime genre is usually so similar that if he didnâ??t like it Iâ??m probably going to hate it. However itâ??s too late to flake on it now, so I head down Hollywood Blvd in the pouring rain preparing for another beautiful let down. I sat in the dark theatre surrounding by poorly dressed geeks writing a horrible review in my head. For the first time in my life I was happy to be wrong.
