Gehenna has Just Canceled PDF Print Email

Pressing legal issues has forced Gehenna to cancel all of the fated that were scheduled with Full of Hell next week.

This is what the band had to say about things:

 "Due to pressing legal matters GEHENNA will be canceling their entire U.S. tour.

Once things are cleared up the tour will be rebooked.

Until then check out the fully remastered and re-packaged limited edition reissue

of their long out of print and critically acclaimed debut album Negotium Perambulans In Tenebris."

 

I'm not sure how I feel about thier sticking a plug into their statement

when they're breaking the news that they have to cancel.

It feels a bit rude, but hey the band still has to eat.

And even though I don't know what their legal woes entail I

do know that lawyers aint cheap so am sure every album sale helps.

So if you want to help these kids get out of whatever trouble

they've gotten themsleves into you can pick up Negotium

It might be the giant smoking can of Monster that I'm drinking, but the trailer for Amon Amarth's new film has me feeling a bit giddy. T

he Forging Mjölnir is going to be a three part documentary that explores some of the bands musical influences.

Huh? Did Tim Lambesis Just Plead Guilty? PDF Print Email

At his most recent bail hearing As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis got his bail dropped from $3 million to $2 million.

I suppose every penny helps but that is still a fuck load of a lot of cash the judge is asking for.

Definately more than the $250,000 that Lambesis' lawyers were asking for.

The Lambesis defense team also used the bail hearing to lay down what I can only assume to be his defense.

Accordng to Metalsucks.com and UT San Deigo, Lambesis and his defense team are claiming that his

"thought processes were devastatingily altered by steriod use". 

I don't know why I was so shocked to find out that Lambesis was using steriods.

No one goes from skinny to rocked up that  quick without some chemical help, but I did enjoy the new look when he got topless on stage.

But in the end his amazing body does  not excuse the fact that he allegedly tried to pay someone to to murder his ex-wife.

Blaming it on the roids just seems to be a way to pave the way to a lighter sentence or an aquittal.

It's still a sad case, but will drop more info as it becomes available.

All Hail the Coming of Front Beast PDF Print Email

I have never heard of Front Beast until today and I have decided that they are the

audio manifestation of why I hate being a resonsible adult.

I have decided that spending too much time at work is the reason I have slept on this band.

Front Beast plays the filthy, demonic, gutter, Death Metal that first dragged me into the pits of the scene as a kid.

But now I have the opporunity to redeem myself;

Front Beast will be dropping their second album Demon Ways of Sorcercy,

via Hellsheadbangers on August 20th.

If the sample tracks are anything to go by

I am prepared to have my ear holes fucked to death by Front Beast on August 20th!
