With the political bullshit in this country in full swing, it is so good that Minstry is here to provide something that passes as the voice reason in sea of madness. To celebrate Minsistry's new album, "Relapse" and to show their support of the little guy Ministry has posted a video for "99 Percenters". Here is what Al had to say about the song "99 Percenters";

 “Hopefully this song and video will motivate people to take action against the Kleptocracy we find ourselves living in. I am in awe of the passion and motivation of the Occupy Wall Street movement and feel compelled to contribute what I can to inspire global citizens to continue to take to the streets in protest against the encroaching New World Order."

Ministry will playing a few select cities this summer in support of "Relapse" and I alreaady have a ticket!

All Hail Skeletonwitch PDF Print Email

My home state of Ohio hasn't given me a lot to be proud of lately. Joe the Plumber, Speaker of the House John Bohner, and back lash against unions and collective bargining and war on women's reproductive health have not given me anything to proud on in a very, very long time. But then I remember Skeletonwitch calls my childhood stomping grounds home and I start to feel a bit better about the place.

Skeletonwitch will be leaving our shared home this spring to hit the road with Nile, Hour of Penance and Black Dahila Murder tomorrow to spread the message of metal across the land. If you have never seen Skeletonwitch live before, it is a must!

Cannibal Corpse Hits Billboard PDF Print Email

I make it a habbit NOT to pay attention to anything that happens on the Billboard charts. The time of their being a relevent place to get information on who the movers and shakers of the music world have long past. Week after week it is just different versions of the same super flavor of the month pop acts that choke out radio stations and pore through the phone when you're on hold with your cable company. But it's starting to look like Billboard may actually have some taste after all. Cannibal Corpse new album "Torture" has hit #4 on Billboards Top Hard Music chart. I still think paying attention to anything that Billboard does is bullshit, but seeing Cannibal Corspe on the top of the charts does a wee bit to restore my faith in humanity.

Cannibal Corpse is going to be on the road with Exhumed and Abysmal Dawn this spring. A line up that is sure to leave shattered souls and busted ear drums in their wake.
