One thing I could never stand is waiting. It drives me insane! Iâ??m more of an instant gratification kind of girl. So when we had to wait until midnight for Heavenly Trip to Hell to take the stage I was feeling like a caged animal waiting in the shadows for them to take the stage.

Iâ??ve been hearing the buzz about Best of Seven for a while now. How their new cd Everything is New Again was going to be the thing that finally put them over the top. People have been sending me emails for months telling me how theyâ??re going to be the next big thing. Iâ??ve been promising myself for months that when time permits I was going to check them out and see what all the fuss is about.

Its 10am on Halloween morning. I pry myself out of bed, my feet still sore from partying the night before. I can barely open my eyes although I'm sure it has something to do with last nights left over eye make up trying to seal them closed. Going down the hallway to the bathroom I don't even look at the mirror as I pass. I know I look horrible. On with the shower letting the hot water run â??til the whole room is steamy. Stepping in to the hot water relaxes all of my muscles slowly waking me up from my sleep. I bask in the warmth for what seems like an eternity. Only getting out when the cold water chases me away.

It's a warm summer day in July. I was standing at the magazine stand at the Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax. Despite the heat my hands are cold and clammy and Iâ??ll admit Iâ??m scared to death while I await the arrival of Abby Travis. I mean the woman is about five minutes away from becoming a LA legend, sheâ??s had the kind of career that most people only dream of. Sheâ??s done feature films, theatre, played all over the country and is getting ready to open her own monthly event, yeah I had good reason to be nervous. As I stand there wondering why the country is in such an uproar over the death of President Reagan, I hear a soft husky voice call my name. Looking over my shoulder I see the diva herself. Thankfully all my worry was for nothing. With a warm smile and a firm handshake Abby put me at ease and we went off to find a booth for cigarettes and girl talk.
